ABOUT THE VENUE
The 600-hectare Country Trax site is situated near Amersfoort in Mpumalanga, and Jan du Toit has specially designed and prepared the facilities for off-road training of the highest standard.
It provides realistic and varied riding conditions, from sand tracks to steep uphill ascents and downhill ruts. From water passages to rocky terrain to gravel tracks. In short, if it isnt here, you probably wont need it.
Country Trax Amersfoort offers both the novice and the serious rider the unique experience to enjoy true motorcycle riding and the opportunity to meet new friends while undergoing training, and night time around the camp fires.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Klipbokkop Mountain Resort is a privately owned nature reserve which forms part of the bigger Kwaggaskloof Conservancy. The owners, Gerhard and Elmarie Groenewald, obtained the mountain farm in 1994, after which the resort was opened to the public in 1998. Klipbokkop has been developed and is managed with a commitment to promote responsible and environmentally friendly tourism, and strives to attract and influence like-minded visitors.
Klipbokkop was the second off-road training academy established by Country Trax and the chief instructors are Leon Kroucamp and Lourens van Rensburg. Their expert guidance will help you take your riding skills to a new level.

It's been a few years since Alan Nelson, the owner of Nelson's Creek, exchanged his advocate's robes to focus full time on this award-winning wine estate.
He is also an avid dualsport rider and recently joined his son Daniel for a two-wheeled adventure from Cape Town to the Kenyan border.

ABOUT THE VENUE
The Mountain Pastures Academy is situated 20 km east of Uniondale in the Eastern Cape. It was developed in 2004 for riders from the Eastern and Southern Cape areas who want to hone their off-road skills and boasts a specialised oval track in addition to the usual training amenities.
In addition to living up to CountryTrax's high standards, the farm offers ancient 500 San Rock Art paintings, more than 4 000 plant species, over 40 animal species, and 130 bird species. You can catch a bass, while being watched by their inquisitive Eland, Zebra, Springbok or even see our beautiful Blue Crane raising their young, while the Black Eagles soar overhead.
At night you can see majestic Buffalo, elusive Lynx or if you are really fortunate, the scarcely seen, phantom-like mountain Leopard.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Maselspoort is a well established holiday resort and conference centre on the outskirts of Bloemfontein. The resort also offers various recreational activities including a swimming pool, super tube, horse riding, mini golf, game drives, etc. The families of course participants have free use of the Maselspoort facilites for the day of the course. See www.maselspoort.co.za for further details. Bring the family along for the day or stay over for the weekend.
We use the Maselspoort conference facility for the introduction of the course, and then proceed to the training site which is adjacent to Maselspoort for the practical riding part of the course. The terrain is excellently suited to the training objectives. We return to Maselspoort for lunch and the closing session in the afternoon.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Moolmanshoek is not only home to a CountryTrax training facility, but also to a private game reserve. It is situated near Ficksburg in the heart of the Free State and gives riders the opportunity to enjoy true motorcycle offroad riding while improving their abilities and experiencing the scenic grandeur of the region. Experience the luxury of the AA Travel Awards "Highly recommended" 4 star sandstone lodge and the famous cuisine of the Bamboesbos country restaurant for refreshment after a long day in the saddle.
Towering over the reserve is Visierskerf (2407m), part of the third highest mountain range in South Africa. The Moolmanshoek valley lies in a horseshoe formed by the Witteberg mountains that feeds several mountain streams in the valley floor below. There are over 230 bird species a variety of plains game that include Springbok, Black Wildebeest, Blesbok, Zebra, Ostrich and many other that are historically indigenous to the area. Willie Nel and his family, the current owners, developed the farm from a conservation area into a natural heritage site.

ABOUT THE VENUE
For the convenience of participants who live in the Garden Route, we are presenting the Introduction to Off-road Riding course in George.
The venue has been specially prepared to simulate the basic off-road condition in order for us to provide training in a safe environment.
Directions :All participants must meet at the business premises of Bavarian Select (corner of York & Jan Smuts streets). The theoretical part of the course will be presented there. Thereafter we will continue as a group to the practical training site a short ride away.

Training will take place at the renowned Eston Farmers' Club where numerous activities take place including the annual WFO and Mountain Bike races.
A huge open field makes it an ideal venue for the initial off-road training. Besides the activities there is also a well-established clubhouse with full restaurant facilities. Across the road is Tala game reserve where rhino, zebra, giraffe and numerous species of buck can be viewed.
The easy access from the N3 results in a 40 minute drive from Durban all along tarred surfaces means that it is also an ideal venue to host the Introduction to Off-road Riding Course.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Courses at Country Trax Imbabala are presented by qualified Instructors; The Academy is located at Imbabala Game Reserve in the Tugela Basin, at the foot of Mhlumba mountain also known as Mt. Moriah. It is approximately 4 hours from Johannesburg and 2 hours from Durban.
This is the perfect spot to learn off-road riding in all its forms and the only track where you can find Giraffe and Zebra as spectators.
The Lodge itself has a beautiful bushveld setting, friendly staff and great catering. The combination of professional instruction, great venue and the opportunity to become a safer and confident rider is something that few other places can offer.
All makes of off-road and dual purpose bikes are welcome!

ABOUT THE VENUE
Following the success of Country Trax off road training Facilities nation wide, we have decided to launch the first Country Trax training facility in the heart of the South African economical hub, Gauteng.
Country Trax Grand Central will provide a 1 day introductory off road course for the novice rider. The Introductory Course will equip the rider to look further than the tarred highways and by ways of Gauteng.
Training will take place at the premises of CMA Midrand, easy accessible for all Gauteng Motorcycle enthusiasts, who wants to take on the great outdoors.

Country Trax Gauteng - Grand Central is located on the grounds of the Bikers Church (CMA) in close proximity to Grand Central Airport and very central and convenient for all Gauteng riders.
Directions will be emailed to you once an online booking has been made.
The terrain is extremely well suited to present the basics of off-road rider training in a safe environment.

About the venue
Pennington is a well-known KZN vacation and retirement resort approximately 45 minutes south of Durban - its part of that wonderful coastline South Africa is so proud to have and offer to its citizens. The accomodation has magnificent views of the sea and the beach is only a short walk from the accomodation. So after a hard day’s tuition and riding there will be an opportunity to soak up some of this wonderful fresh sea air!


The course riding venue takes place at a farm some 15km from the comfortable accomodation. Here you will find all the different types of terrain you may come across in your South African riding trips. These range from district roads to sandy river crossings, paths in the forest and even a rocky outcrop for those feeling a little more adventurous. We have a quarry you can play in and some really good farm roads to practice those dirt road corners taken at speed.

Your instructors for the weekend will be drawn from any one of the 19 instructors countrywide. The regular KZN instructors are John Briscoe and Rynardt Crous who between them have delivered in excess of 50 courses - both of them are totally committed to providing the best possible riding tuition and enjoyment during the weekend!
